The first Manga I ever read was a Dragon Ball comic in a supermarket in France.
It had that second fight between Tenshinhan and Goku and my small kids mind was BLOWN away.
It was so crazy different and fun, it did not matter that I had no clue about the words. I even started watching the show via the French TV channel and TO THIS DAY I get made fun of for pronouncing some of the characters names with a french twang.
