ILLUSTRATION, links

Posted by – July 6, 2009

Hello,

here are some things i did for school.

I had to do some Illustrations based on a “how to make guys want to have kids” question and came up with a “to make their own fanboy!” answer.

Not the best drawings i ever did but i wanted to find something a bit more simple and flat.

And please take 3 Minutes to watch this incredible Video of one guy making it to the top

of the World.

SKETCHBOOK, the forest clam

Posted by – June 22, 2009

Painting my parents house was exhausting but still kind of fun.

Its really easy to forget time and just be in the moment when your standing on a shaky scaffold trying not to move hasty while sprinkling white paint in you eyes.

My hands are still covered in tiny bits of acrylic and i even found out that primer and my skin don’t get along very well. With my skin being on the loosing, red turning end of the equation.

Here are recent pictures to forget the pain:

This is the forest clam,

and here are its eating habits,

some wild things,

and a hairy dude,

On to a great week!

Hello!

I wanted to post some links i gathered over the last week, so have a sketch from me first

and some internet gems afterwards!

1) Starting with cuteness is always a good thing (click for one more and the source)

2) Rey-O directs tips towards the latest generation of Sheridan Illustration grads

and

3) Jillian Tamaki talks about the importance of not only keeping a sketchbook but actually benefiting from it.

Also, my parents just called. They want me to help them paint their house on the coming weekend.

Lucky me!
