Issue TWO things and more

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Some drawings from the last weeks,

First some things for Issue #2 of NARAKA, containing stories about Portland, Montreal and more “personal stuff”

Then some drawings made for a friend to add some spice into a presentation about a specific bone:

And random hip looking people:

ETPLUS:
- Iron Man 2 was OK but felt too long
- I have a COLD! and that seems cosmically unfair considering the unbelievable summer weather here in Montreal
- The new albums by THE NATIONAL and Hannah Georgas are fun!
- Valve just releases Half-Life 2 with its episodes for the mac!
- I`m reading Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip with David Foster Wallace and it is hard to put down

Sketchbooks and stuff

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Hello,
these are the sketchbooks I have been using (and filled up) since I left Germany in November.
The two on top are the current ones (one for story, one for diary things):

I will be taking them back for the diploma exhibition, but here are some excerpts for the time being

And some other doodles I have not posted yet:

A Bee that likes cheese:

A shady guy finding a screwdriver and being happy about it:

+ BONUS because today is Saturday

Here are some more images from the Cartoon Network thing:

Apart from this:
- working on the diploma
- frustrated with the weather (snow, AGAIN!)
- clicking knees
- flights to Germany, SUPER expensive.

hope everyone is going to have a splendid week!

Cartoon Network try out

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

So I did a try out for Adventure Time / Cartoon Network!
It was super fun, I learned a lot but in the end did not work out.
THAT SAID:
It was awesome to get the chance and it felt re-energizing to do.
I`m super pumped to learn now and I will be posting some of the drawings that came out of that in the following days/week.
Here is a start:
