My time in Portland is coming to an end and I`m sad and happy about it AT THE SAME TIME!
I met great people, learned a lot about making comics and I think I ate more skittles (red and green) then a human should ever digest (And then I found out that they are 99% made out of corn syrup, WHO KNEW?)
I will scan some sketches that the nice people of Periscope did for me in the coming weeks and I`m thankful for their ability to endure my constant babbling.
That said, I`m looking forward to getting lost in a new city and to finally start working full time on my diploma for a while.
Getting back into training and finding a nice apartment are also two things I`m very much looking forward to.
SO
Next stop on the Adventure train will be Montreal, I hear its cold there so I might even buy a hat finally.

BONUS
Some thoughts on movies/tv I saw in the last weeks:
Sherlock Holmes, not really good and extra weird thanks to Sherlock using BJJ
Whiteout, even worse (but based on a good comic)
The Dark Crystal, should have seen this as a kid but the designs hold up (and are still scary)
Heart of Darkness, interesting documentary about the torture of filming Apocalypse now
Lucky Louie, Louis CK is funnier when doing stand-up
Whatever Works, boring and bad. Woody Allen and Larry David seemed a great fit but its a weird fetish movie without any merit
Overnight, alright documentary about the ego maniac that made the Boondock Saints
Pontypool, nice take on the Zombie genre. More weird then horror
A Serious Man, great great movie by the Coen Brothers
Internet things worth mentioning:
The uncut interview between Jon Stewart and O’Reilly – HERE
A documentary about making the Blade Runner film – HERE
