Hello hello,
Christmas is around the corner, my train tickets for Seattle are booked and I`m trying to finish a comic page every day.
This is not really working so far thanks to me not really hitting the tone I want to hit with some of the drawings.
Take the following one for example, it SHOULD show some rough treasure hunting dudes (for the first time) on their way deeper into a foreign jungle.
I drew them on the Wacom, I drew them with pencil and then with the Wacom again.. still.. its not the look I wanted them to have..
I also don’t like the fact that they are not DOING anything. They pose for an invisible camera and the panel tells nothing more than show their faces. Hmpf..
My deadline is still far away in the next year so fumbling around like this is OK but it still sucks to waste so much time and it does not feel good.
ON A HAPPIER NOTE:
I finished THE HOBBIT and its a way looser and quicker book than I remembered.
It really feels like something that could be read to children over a couple of weeks.
One thing that made me wonder though..
Balin`s (one of the Dwarfs) clear love for our main Hobbit.. was Tolkien hinting at some small-men-love going on?

Schöne Weihnachten schöner Mann und komm gut ins neue Jahr! Ich zum Beispiel, bin gestern knapp dem Schneechaos und den damit verbunden gecancelten Flügen in London entkommen. München hamse dann doch anfliegen lassen. Somit ist mein Glücksklee für dieses Jahr pünktlich zum Ende aufgebraucht. Es wird Zeit, dass ein neues kommt.

Ich hatte leider weniger glück am Londoner Flughafen letzte Woche: mein Flug wurde gestrichen. Naja 24h später war ich dann doch endlich zu Hause.

sry das du weniger glueck hattest, die email eilt nicht, ich warte die intel sache anfang januar sowieso noch ab.
