Seconds

Hi!

A second busy week is over and it included:

- doing comic pages twice (see below)

- spending my first thanksgiving with the amazing Jeff Parker, his family and friends

- drinking weird cocktails and getting a headache from arcade games

- seeing  THE ROAD and finding it only mediocre due to not enough risks and famous people

Here are the two versions of the comic i´m currently working on as a “test” for a bigger thing. Watercolors and then only digital

I like doing the watercolors more BUT the digital stuff flows way faster and is way way easier to handle.

Painting is new and actually thinking about color palette and “leading-the-eye” boggles my mind. Thats why the watercolors are a big blob of something instead of being highly readable.

I will post the whole 5 pages of the prologue next sunday!

  1. Ich finde die digitale Coloration besser weil ich die Konturen und die Story besser erkenne. Die Wasserfarben sind so stark dass die Konturen verschwimmen. Kannst ja mal mit einer seichten aquarellfarbe so wie im digitalen analog arbeiten. Aufjedenfall sieht es toll aus ganz im Sinne der muschelstory juhu. Freu mich dass es dir gut geht. The Road sah gar nicht so aus wie das Buch lg Antje

    du hast recht. bisher ist es in etwa 50/50 was die meinungen betrifft.
    ich glaube jeder würde wasserfarbe mehr mögen wenn ich mehr darüber nachdenke und es “schlauer” machen würde.
