The first Weekend
Hello!
I am alive and well, my third day in America Country is slowly ending and was great.
Hanging around famous and great people at Portland Comic Con was a blast, although I was not really contributing anything except for lame questions or jokes about chubby girls dressed up as Bat Girl.
I´m still a bit weirded out by the fact that I am now walking through Portland, that I´m talking english AND that Dollars feel like Monopoly money.
My face goes from A to B and then back again:

ALSO, this happened a couple of times:
(partly because I thought that it would be a hoot to walk around without glasses for a while)

Thanks for all the well wishes, I wanted to upload some pictures as well but was to stupid to take my camera cord with me.
I´ll buy another one and show some juicy details of living in Oregon.
Have a good start into an all new, all fresh week!
Show your love!

Antje is excited, I am excited, we’re ALL excited to learn more about your all new, freshly polished, shiny, sparkling, haute volée life. As you’re very well aware of, life over here is always cold, rainy and packed with fat dark clouds. Never forget that! All of us had to work very very hard raising the money to finally send you, the youngest and strongest, over to the promised land (good to know they let you in)… so buy that damned cord. And may your bliss shine onto our miserable existences. Amen.
(hell yes, I do have way too much time while waiting for my shoulder to heal =)

The US dollar IS Monopoly money (and is almost worth as much).
Good meeting you at the show.
Welcome to Portland!
